General Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n

“\u8594\u8587\u306f\u7f8e\u3057\u304f\u6563\u308b” (Bara wa utsukushiku chiru) is a cover of the opening song from the popular 1972 manga\/anime series “The Rose of Versailles” (“Lady Oscar” in the West), illustrated by \u6c60\u7530\u4ee3\u5b50 (Ryoko Ikeda). This series had a big influence on KAMIJO when he was younger.<\/p>\n

The art of this single contains manga-style drawings of the members of LAREINE, actually drawn by \u6c60\u7530\u4ee3\u5b50 (Ryoko Ikeda) herself, who illustrated the original manga!!!<\/p>\n

This cover song was actually released two years earlier, on the LILLIE CHARLOTTE<\/a> mini-album from 1998. But this new version released on this single contains soprano backing vocals by \u6c60\u7530\u4ee3\u5b50 (Ryoko Ikeda). So she did both drawings AND backing vocals on this single.<\/p>\n

This single combines the “\u8594\u8587\u306f\u7f8e\u3057\u304f\u6563\u308b” (Bara wa utsukushiku chiru) cover with another, original song: “\u3042\u306e\u4eba\u306e\u611b\u3057\u305f\u4eba\u306a\u3089” (Ano hito no aishita hito nara); A composition of KAMIJO that was also put on the “\u30d5\u30a3\u30a8\u30eb”\u30c6\u306e\u6d77\u3068\u5171\u306b\u6d88\u3086\uff5eTHE LAST OF ROMANCE\uff5e<\/a>” album, which released a week later.<\/p>\n

Just like that album, and the singles before, this single sold well enough to reach the Oricon Style Weekly Singles Chart, where it reached a top position of 40.<\/p>\n
