General Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n

MALICE MIZER’s fifth single, and third major single, released as an 8cm CD ontaining three tracks; the main song, an accordion remix, and an instrumental version.<\/p>\n

Even though it didn’t reach the Oricon top 10 singles chart (It reached 11th place…), it is MALICE MIZER’s best-selling single, even surpassing au revoir’s sales.<\/p>\n

It was used as the ending theme for TBS TV’s “\u6c5f\u5ddd\u306e\u98df\u5353” (Egawa no Shokutaku).<\/p>\n

“Gekka no Yasoukyoku” or “\u6708\u4e0b\u306e\u591c\u60f3\u66f2”, the title of the song, is a reference to a video game that released one year earlier. The game’s title in English is “Castlevania: Symphony of the Night” for the Playstation 1… But the Japanese title is “\u60aa\u9b54\u57ce\u30c9\u30e9\u30ad\u30e5\u30e9X \u6708\u4e0b\u306e\u591c\u60f3\u66f2”, which roughly translates to “Akumajo Dracula X: Nocturne under the Moon”.<\/p>\n

There are two versions of this single; Both released the same day and with the same catalog number. The difference is in the finish of the cardboard case: One has a rough texture, the other a smooth texture.<\/p>\n
