General Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n

MALICE MIZER’s ninth single, and their third release after quitting major label Nippon Columbia, and becoming independent again under Mana’s Midi:Nette label. The single contains an instrumental version without choir as B-side.<\/p>\n

This is the second entry in a trilogy of singles that would be included in the “\u8594\u8587\u306e\u8056\u5802<\/a>” (Bara no seidou) album.<\/p>\n

Just like the previous single in the trilogy, “\u518d\u4f1a\u306e\u8840\u3068\u8594\u8587<\/a>” (Saikai no chi to bara) before it, there is no vocalist present in the traditional sense, as the band didn’t have a replacement for Gackt yet, instead, the main melody is sung by a choir. Also just like the previous single, a VHS tape released containing this song’s music video, which released on the same day.<\/p>\n

There is no guitar present on this song, and the bass is very silent. So during the music video and live performance of this song, the members have a more visual, or rather performance-art role instead of instrument-playing musicians. Nonetheless, all three collaborated well in the studio to make it high-quality music.<\/p>\n

Mana called the singing choir a light in the darkness… And this darkness is very present in this song and its artistic music video, which follows the shift to extreme darkness which happened because of Gackt’s leaving, and Kami’s death that followed.<\/p>\n
