FAQ / Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. As all tapes (audio or video) are tested before putting it for sale, and I use the occasion to also make a proper rip of them. If you buy a cassette tape or VHS, I will send you the files of what you bought after it arrived. So be sure to confirm whenever it arrived, and I will send it to you through WeTransfer, MEGA, or Transfer.it.

My way of rating is super strict, so usually a medium or a bad item isn’t as bad as you’d imagine, but I still like rating it low just to make sure there’s no disappointments.

New: Factory sealed/unopened.

Good: No big or glaring flaws, is sometimes actually “very good”.

Medium: Visible flaws and wear, can be either “good”, “medium”, or “kind of bad”, it all falls in this category.

Bad: Could be disastrous condition, but can also be on the lower medium side.

These conditions apply to the outer sleeves, cases, printing, and booklets. All discs and tapes are tested, so please don’t worry that a CD or tape in “bad” condition is unplayable. No unplayable or unstable CDs or cassettes will be put on sale.

About broken jewel cases: These are very easily replaceable, but I prefer not doing that myself so I’m sure I send the “original plastic” of the item to you. Feel free to replace a jewel case with a good one at home, but I’d rather rate most of the items with broken jewel cases as “bad” without changing the item.

An OBI is a small paper strip included with most Japanese CD and vinyl releases. It contains release information such as the title, release date, catalog number, and so on. With each item I have for sale, I added a category called “OBI” which says if it’s included (YES), missing (NO), or if the release never contained an OBI in the first place (NEVER).

Not that accurate. The product dimensions you see on the store include one or a few centimeters extra to count for the bubble wrap around CDs or DVDs. In the case of flyers, I often write the dimensions to be a little larger than A4, as I put even smaller flyers into an hard A4 plastic sleeve to ship it well and safely. So take them with a grain of salt!

Super safe in a lot of bubble wrap. But each item also gets put in a tight thin plastic resealable sleeve that I provide for extra protection, and on that resealable sleeve there will be a sticker with the item number (Store ID). So when you see your item arrive in this resealable plastic, don’t mistake it for being a sealed item please, and also don’t be scared if you see a sticker on your item: It’s not the original item, it’s on the extra sleeve I added.

I ship using a mixture of UPS, DHL, FedEx and Bpost, depending on where you live and what you choose when checking out.

I generally don’t accept returns/refunds.

I ship my items very safely so the post will almost never be able to break them. And if you pay for tracked shipping, there’s also almost no chance it’ll get lost.

If something still goes completely wrong, given all of this, use the contact form on this website, or shoot me an e-mail / DM anywhere, and we can resolve any serious and exceptional issues.

I wish I could! But sadly, I’ve almost only had trouble in the past with reserving items, even if it’s for the nicest of people. Days become weeks, that become months or even a full year… And getting “ghosted” also often happens after reserving. So, I’m sorry, but no reservations.
