MALICE MIZER’s first full album, containing 10 tracks. None of the songs were released beforehand as singles, and all of the 10 songs released the first time on this album.
“死の舞踏” (Shi no butou) and “~前兆~” (~Zenchou~) have already been played live since the time where Tetsu was the vocalist, but these songs never got recorded in the studio by the band before Voyage sans retour.
“N.p.s N.g.s” stands for “No pains No gains”.
The first press, which released on the same day as the second press, was limited to just 5000 copies, and contains an extra booklet, and a slipcase, but no OBI.
The cover image is an edit of a photograph of the painting “Angel in green with a vielle” by the Italian 15th century painter Giovanni Ambrogio de Predis.
“Voyage sans retour” is broken French for “Journey without returning”. “Premier amour” is French for “First love”, and a “Musetté” (with the “é”, but this has no sense being there) and a “Madrigal” are classical music genres.
