Cantavanda - Composer / Singer / Visual-Kei
・・・the elegant beauty of pure flowers in a dark world of sadness・・・

Adriël Cantamessi, better known as Cantavanda, is a singer-songwriter from Belgium with one clear mission: to fill the world with as much beauty and warmth as possible, with a touch of tragic fantasy.
Alongside his studies in classical composition at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent, he focuses primarily on developing his own style: visual multipop.
What does that mean exactly? “Pop” refers to an accessible, commercial song format. “Multi” stands for blending a wide range of musical styles within a single piece. And the visual aspect and storytelling are just as essential as the music itself: image and sound form one artwork.
In June 2024, he released his first single collection, “Romancia”, which was warmly received.
He is now rehearsing with his band, Cantavanda and the Flower Girls, and taking his first steps into the live music scene.
Other than creating music, he’s also an active archivist of rare Japanese “visual-kei” music. A part of it can be found on his second YouTube channel “Visual Flower Archive”, and another part can be found on the sub-pages of this website, full of scans and information dedicated to those bands.
