Information

MALICE MIZER’s tenth single, and their fourth release after quitting major label Nippon Columbia, and becoming independent again under their Midi:Nette label. The second track is an instrumental version without vocalist.

This is the third and final entry in a trilogy of singles that would be included in the ‘薔薇の聖堂’ (Bara no seidou) album.

This is the first ever MALICE MIZER recording/release with their third and final vocalist Klaha, who was introduced to MALICE MIZER’s fanbase through this single. He was still not an official member of MALICE MIZER during this release. Instead, he’s credited as an ‘additional musician’. He’s also not included in the photographs or music video of this song.

After only releasing gothic, instrumental music on the previous three releases, MALICE MIZER went back to its neo-classical rock sound again with this release. There’s a vocalist again, there’s a session drummer, and Mana and Közi gracefully play their guitars.

This song also got a music video, but it is only around 2 minutes long, as the song is cut short. Unlike the previous two singles, the music video didn’t release on any VHS at the time of its creation, but was instead released two years later, as part of the ‘Cardinal’ DVD/VHS.
