MALICE MIZER’s 1st mini-album, containing 6 tracks originally, and a 7th track on the deluxe edition released later that same year.
There are three presses of this release. The 1st press of memoire released on the 24th of July, 1994, and was limited to 3000 serial-stamped copies. MALICE MIZER’s popularity was growing so fast during that time, that all 3000 copies sold out during pre-orders.
However, memoire got repressed for MM’s “Cher de memoire 1994” tour, so a 2nd press was made, but this time without serial number. It is not known how many were made, but it can’t be a lot, as this second press is very difficult to find. Maybe around 1000? All the contents and booklet of this second press are the same, except for the OBI and CD print which are different, and of course, the absence of a serial number.
After the “Cher de memoire 1994” tour, MALICE MIZER got back into the studio, and recorded a final track with Tetsu, “バロック” (Baroque), and added it to the third press of memoire, “memoire DX”, where DX stands for deluxe. memoire DX is a common CD and is easy to find, as a ton of copies were made throughout the entire 90s. It also contains a slipcase, and an extra photo book called the “VISUAL STORY BOOKLET”.

Somewhere inbetween the mid and late 90s, when MALICE MIZER got really popular, this CD was repressed again in large quantities, with the only difference being a different sticker on the plastic seal containing a barcode. The price of this CD also included an extra 150JPY tax.
