Never publicly available. Only given away to people in the music business, like live houses for booking, other musicians, and other people in the music industry. I don’t consider this a, “official demo tape”, but a promotional tape. It is confirmed to be official, even if some people see it as a bootleg.
Promotional tape by MALICE MIZER It was never distributed to the public, but was used as a music industry-only tape. Live houses, reviewers, record labels, and members of other bands got this tape for various reasons. Probably just a few 10s exist. The exact release month or day is not known. It was probably made during various moments in 1993, but possibly also in december of 1992, as both songs got recorded in the studio that month.
It contains two tracks, “SADNESS”, which also released officially the “SADNESS” and “THE 1TH ANNIVERSARY” demo tape, and “SPEED OF DESPERATE”, which also released officially on the “BRAINTRASH” omnibus (various artists) CD.
This tape is so rare that I have never even seen a fake copy on sale… It is impossible to get. Many years ago, before I started collecting, FLOWER RECORD sold a copy of it to a Western fan, who shared the rip online.
This release is often seen as a bootleg, but recently, SADIE PINK GALAXY, who was friends with Közi in 1992/1993 during the days where he was in the band “JUBILEE”, posted a photo of it on his X (Twitter) account, next to a JUBILEE tape, confirming it’s official.
