月夜の歌劇 (Tsukiyo no kageki) – Demo Tape

General Information:

LAREINE’s third demo tape, containing three songs. Two of the songs are brand new, including the title track “月夜の歌劇” (Tsukiyo no kageki), and the third song on this demo tape, “再会の花” (Saikai no hana) is taken from the “再会の花” sampler CD, released about four months prior. It is the exact same recording of “再会の花” as on the sampler.

The lyrics booklet of this tape doesn’t contain the lyrics to the “再会の花” song, but mentions instead that a lyrics sheet was included with the “再会の花” sampler CD. You can click here to view that scan.

This is their most common demo tape, with 2500 copies existing. It is also the most professional-manufactured demo tape. I have never seen a fake/bootleg of this tape.

This high pressing-number means they were getting much more popular around this time.

This is also the first release that features guitarist AKIRA.
