Information

MALICE MIZER’s twelfth single, containing four tracks (not counting the empty tracks).

After the release of ‘薔薇の聖堂’ (Bara no seidou), Klaha became an official member of the band, and started appearing in photo shoots and music videos. This is the second release where Klaha is included as official member, as he was still a guest musician before.

This is also the second entry in a trilogy of singles with music videos that would encapsulate the very end of MALICE MIZER. It was probably supposed to lead up to a fourth album, something lighter, a breath of fresh air after the darkness, but sadly, MALICE MIZER went on indefinite hiatus after the third single of this trilogy.

A few weeks after this single released, a VHS and a DVD containing the music video of this song released. It has a spooky horror vibe. The music video went quite viral on early YouTube and brought MALICE MIZER to a wider, Western audience for the first time in significant amounts, something they deserved.

Only one version of the CD released. It starts with three ‘real’ songs, after which tracks 4-20 are completely silent, and all last just a few seconds, while track 21, composed by Kami, is the ACTUAL fourth track. It was supposed to work as a kind of surprise ending when you put the CD in and forgot to turn it off after the ‘fake ending’.
