Information

MALICE MIZER’s 13th single, containing four songs, but none are new songs.

They songs all previously released on the ‘薔薇の聖堂’ (Bara no seidou) album. First of all, 真夜中に交わした約束 (Mayonaka ni kawashita yakusoku) is included and considered as the main song of this single. It also has vocals. After this, there’s an instrumental of 真夜中に交わした約束 (Mayonaka ni kawashita yakusoku) without vocals, and finally, there’s two instrumental (no vocals) versions here of songs from ‘薔薇の聖堂’ (Bara no seidou).

The reason why this was released was to help promote MALICE MIZER’s full length vampire movie “薔薇の婚礼” (Bara no Konrei), which released a few days later in theatres. One of the most important songs in the movie was 真夜中に交わした約束 (Mayonaka ni kawashita yakusoku), and these instrumental versions of those three songs from Bara no Seidou were also used as background music during the movie.

This single also contains a DVD inside the jewel case behind the CD, which contains the music video of 真夜中に交わした約束 (Mayonaka ni kawashita yakusoku), which was the song set to some scenes of the movie.
