Information

MALICE MIZER’s 14th and final single, containing two songs, and two instrumental versions of those songs, giving it four tracks in total.

The third of a series of singles that were probably supposed to lead to a new album with Klaha as vocalist, but after this single, MALICE MIZER went on ‘indefinite hiatus’ (a prettier term for being disbanded). The main song also got a music video that released some months later on the ‘Cardnial’ VHS/DVD, which contains all the music videos of the band that were created from 1999 to 2001.

After this single released, all members went on their own ways; Klaha started a poppier solo career that was short and sweet, before disappearing from public eye in 2006. Mana went on to form Moi dix Mois, which serves as both his solo project and new band, which is still active today, and Közi formed and joined and formed a ton of musical projects and bands from that time until today, and while Yu～ki left the music business, he’s still very publicly connected to Mana and Közi, even today. He also makes jewelry.

While this is the last ‘actual’ release of MALICE MIZER during their active days, as mentioned before, during early 2002, they rereleased a lot of older videos on DVD that were only on VHS before, like lives and music videos from Gackt’s time. In 2004, 2005 and 2006, some compilation CD’s were released containing songs with Gackt on vocals. The only activities after these were occasional ‘Deep Sanctuary’ reunion concerts where Mana and Közi played together, sometimes with Yu～ki. The most notable is Deep Sanctuary VI from 2018, which also featured guest singers, and released on blu-ray video.
