・・・Biography・・・
o×b×j×e (オブジェ) was a visual-kei band that probably formed in 1993, but also possibly 1992, and disbanded in 1995. They are remarkable for their very dark, atmospheric, desperate and moody rock-sound that can get very agressive when needed. Only three photographs of o×b×j×e are known to exist.
During their short period active, they released three demo tapes containing studio recordings, a few live demo tapes, and also appeared on a CD omnibus / various artist called “Image Sonic”, which released in 1994. Their last live was probably on the 13th of May, 1995, after which guitarist AI (哀) and vocalist AKANE formed the band “C’est La vie” together, which was also short-lasted, existing just one year.
Vocalist AKANE became really popular with his band third band “BLÜE”, which came after o×b×j×e and C’est La vie.
None of the members of o×b×j×e were known to be in bands before, and it is unknown what happened to the bassists and the dummer of o×b×j×e after they disbanded.
Even though they were never really that popular, never releasing any singles, EP’s or albums, they have always had a cult following that has remained strong over the years.
